David Mackenzie
Managing Director and Head of HR Hiring

David started his career at Michael Page International, where he spent eight years as a Director within the firm’s London office. He then was seconded for the firm’s internet business, Monster.co.uk, which he helped try the main country in Europe.
In 2003, David put up Mackenzie Jones in the united kingdom, growing the company across two offices in London and Birmingham, and concentrating on Marketing, Sales, Finance and HR. The company soon began helping customers and individuals in Dubai, and after spending nearly all of his time commuting between the UK and the UAE, David founded Mackenzie Jones in Dubai to provide the Gulf area and neighbouring countries.
An expatriate since childhood David has lived in a number of different nations including Oman and Turkey where he spent a big section of his childhood and has an unique love for the location. Married with two large and lively children and a feral cat, David can be a keep-fit fan, part-time rugby coach, eager diver and bad player.


Matthew Godfrey

Following his retail knowledge, he spent eight years with Michael Page International, including five years in the South-west of England, creating a Retail and Sales field. He moved to Dubai in 2008 to setup Michael Page International’s Sales, Marketing and Retail group in the centre East. David joined Mackenzie Jones in 2011 and has continued to develop the company’s Sales and Marketing department.
Beyond work, David includes a passion for many sports. He’s a devoted baseball fan and normal skier, but his real interest is such a thing gas. He also likes travelling, both to find out new areas and to meet up with old friends, and he’s always preparing his next overseas holiday.
